Guess I never looked at food so seriously and with so much respect before. Since I cut quick carbs from rice and wheat, I have not been losing any weight. What is the issue?
1. I had cheat meals when I was not supposed to - come on I did have an oily ham and cheese croissant for breakfast the other day.
2. I buy takeaway food, which are cooked using unhealthy oil and contain lots of spice. The oil can be a cause of issue. On the other hand, salad is generally not that filling - should coupe that with cans of tuna / eggs.
3. When my wife does not cook dinner, I tend to start eating anything I can have on hand.
Solutions:
1. Whey protein meal and powerbars as a snack to avoid slipping to buy junk food.
2. Buy salad and tuna instead of oily Chinese takeaway.
3. Be responsible for my own dinner. Prepare preserved chicken or beef that can be cooked quickly. Buy frozen vegies and keep ample stock of beans.
